SHORT DESCRIPTION
LAND OF FIRES project is a film denouncing the dramatic situation that bell resident population lives in the high environmental pollution, renamed “Land of Fires”. The film is inspired by the great scientific work on the impact of pollution to the people, published in the book “Health and Environment in Campania” in 1977 by Prof. Giovan Giacomo Giordano, and in the book “Land of Campania Poisons” of his son , Prof. Dr. Antonio Giordano in 2012.’s work in an original and experimental cross the two historical periods, showing, and, mixing the narrative story and the original balanced and decisive fact pro-documentary, based on the studies and the published scientific data on the books of the Jordan. Finally, within the story will be included in one or more stories of how the population and, in particular, some mothers have had to dramatically confront the brutal and unjust illness of their children, caused by pollution of a great land such as Campania, for hand of little men of the institutions and the underworld before, and the world economic with organized crime after.

DIRECTOR’S NOTES
The film does not become the usual rhetoric about Campania work on issues related to the environment and the Camorra, but rather denounce in a strong and undeniable situation, the guilty, the state and in particular of the population, which, though innocent, is indifferent and does not react leading to a strong solution to the problem.
