Birth of a new film event , comes the ITALIAN MOVIE AWARDS © , which will take place in one of the most popular cultural venue in the world , Pompeii. The awards ceremony at the archaeological site , while the red carpet, interviews and screenings will be held at the innovative “Italian Movie Award Village” in the amphitheater of The Mill Shopping Center La Cartiera main supporter of the festival. The event continues the great work done by the ” Valsele Film Festival” , now in its 6th edition , becoming an international film event of exportable worldwide . Conceived and directed by Carlo Fumo has involved national and international filmmakers , getting a broad public consensus and reflected on all the national press thanks to the presence of numerous and illustrious artists .
The year 2014 will be even more important from the point of view of art and culture , June 13 to 22 , ten days of screenings with 6 films , 16 shorts from 16 European countries and 6 different Italian courts , in their respective categories in the competition ” European Competition ” and” Italian competition “, the exhibition” Walk Of Fame IMA ” Master’s GiuseppeCascella , a masterclass cinematographic free for children 40 and, finally, a poetry competition on” the Land of Fires ” . All this and more, in the presence of distinguished guests, including : Biagio IZZO , Edoardo LEO , Cristiana CAPOTONDI , Luca WARD , Alessio BONI , Chiara FRANCINI , Salvatore MISTICONE , Paolo GENOVESE , Valerio CAPRARA and many others.
The “mission ” of the event will be to include, promote and enhance the national and international level through the cinematography , Italian cultural sites of primary importance, with particular attention to the location World Heritage Site ( UNESCO) as a success in the previous edition with the site archaeological site of Paestum ( SA) .
The 2014 theme is ” The Environment ” and in particular its preservation . The president of the jury will be the internationally renowned researcher Prof. Dr. Antonio Giordano , author of the book ” Land of Campania Poisons ” (ed. IlDenaro ) . With bronze medals President of the Italian Republic, the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies, the moral support and cooperation of the European Commission Representation in Italian Ministry for the Environment , Land and Sea, Campania Region, Directorate national Legambiente Campania Film Commission , Agiscuola , Human Healt Foundation Onlus , Campani Coordination of Film Festivals and Film School in Naples.
